More than a job.
Work that genuinely matters.
At Mediline, we look after our own people the same way we look after the people we support. If you are looking for meaningful work with an organisation that takes both care and culture seriously, we would love to hear from you.

Why People Stay at Mediline
Good care depends on good people who stay. That is not just something we say – it shapes every decision we make as an employer. We recruit locally, invest in our teams and build careers, not just shift patterns.
Our support workers get to know the people they work with over time, and that consistency matters enormously, both to the people we support and to the people doing the supporting. Working at Mediline means being trusted to do your job well, valued as part of a team and supported by leadership that is visible and honest.
Consistent Teams
We are proud of the strong retention across our teams, with many colleagues choosing to build long-term careers with us. We design our services around consistency and stability, allowing the people we support to build trusted relationships with familiar faces who understand their needs, routines and goals. For our staff, this creates a supportive team environment where colleagues feel valued, connected and part of something meaningful.
Real Homes, Real Work
Our services are real homes where people live full and meaningful lives. We work alongside the people we support to help them maintain independence, build confidence and enjoy the everyday routines and experiences that matter to them. From supporting someone to cook a favourite meal or attend a local activity, to helping them achieve personal goals and develop life skills, the work is varied, rewarding and full of genuine impact and purpose. No two days are ever the same, and every day brings the opportunity to make a positive difference.
Fair and Respectful Culture
We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported and valued. We believe the best care is delivered by teams who feel listened to, appreciated and confident in their role. That’s why we promote open communication, clear expectations and a culture built on kindness, professionalism and fairness. We encourage teamwork, recognise individual contributions and aim to create an environment where people can grow, develop and enjoy coming to work.
What We Look For
We recruit people from a wide range of backgrounds. You do not need a specific qualification to get started, but you do need the right values.
We are looking for people who are patient, reliable and genuinely committed to supporting others. People who communicate well, take responsibility and understand that consistency matters. People who want to build a career, not just fill a role. If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.
Invest in yourself. We will invest in you.
At Mediline, training is not a box to tick. It is how we make sure our teams feel confident, competent and supported to do their best work every day.
All new staff complete a structured induction programme that gives you the skills and knowledge to start your role with confidence. From there, we offer ongoing training, mentoring and a clear pathway for progression – including nationally recognised qualifications in Health and Social Care.

Ongoing Training
Regular development opportunities keep your skills sharp and your confidence high. Ranging from refresher courses and specialist training to hands-on support from experienced colleagues.
Qualifications and Apprenticeships
We sponsor a range of nationally accredited diplomas and support staff to gain further qualifications as they progress.

We actively encourage internal progression. When senior roles become available, we want our own people to be ready for them.

Testimonials
It’s an incredibly rewarding job. Even on the quiet days, you know you’ve helped someone live their life in a way they couldn’t without that support, and that stays with you.
What I always come back to is trust. The people I support are letting you into their daily lives, their mornings, their routines, their difficult moments. When someone is open with you like that, you become something like a friend away from family. That’s not something you take lightly, and it’s not something you forget either.
